General Information

91±¬ÁÏ will be holding commencement ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of all spring and summer graduates. There will be two ceremonies held Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Lander University - Finis Horne Arena.

• 11 a.m. —  Healthcare and Arts & Sciences
• 3 p.m. — Business, Information Technology, Commercial Arts, Public Service and Engineering & Industrial Technology

Tickets are required for all guests attending the commencement ceremony. Each person entering the building, including infants and children, must have a ticket and is entitled to one seat. A limited amount of tickets will be available. The alloted amount will be determined at a later date.  Tickets must be claimed only through (formally MarchingOrder). Any unaccounted-for tickets will no longer be available. There will be a recording of graduation posted shortly after.

Please know, announcements sold through the bookstore are not tickets.

Graduation is a formal occasion. Men should wear long dark pants. Women should wear dresses, skirt/blouse or dark pants.  All graduates should wear dark shoes. Students participating in the ceremony must have a black cap and gown. Caps and gowns are sold by Barnes and Noble, the Campus Bookstore, on the Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood. Gown, cap and tassel are available for $64.15 plus tax at the Campus Bookstore.

The Grad Fair will be in the Student Center and Breezeway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Graduates who are eligible and have completed the graduation application have been mailed a graduation brochure with more detailed information on ceremony participation.
