MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Requires high school diploma OR GED equivalent supplemented by EMT courses/training equivalent.
- Requires successful completion of current SC EMT-Basic curriculum and S.C. written and practical examinations OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Must be in good physical health.
- Must possess a current SC EMT certification
- Must possess a clean SC driver's license.
- No prior experience is required.
As an EMT with Greenwood EMS, you鈥檒l play a critical role in providing emergency medical care and support during patient transport. You鈥檒l use essential skills such as airway management, patient assessment, and basic life support to ensure the safety and well-being of every patient in your care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate, lifesaving medical care and transport in emergency situations.

- Maintain equipment and ensure vehicles are ready for rapid deployment.
