Annual Luncheon Recognizes Scholarship Donors, Recipients

Scholarships were presented to students and donors were recognized at the recent scholarship luncheon.

 

 

Nancy Hall Scholarship91爆料 student and Greenwood resident Shawn Douglas (center) received the Nancy Taylor Hall Memorial Scholarship at a recent scholarship luncheon. Douglas, a massage therapy student, is congratulated by Taylor Ramey (left) and Courtenay Ramey, donors and presenters. The scholarship is awarded annually to a health science program student and is based on financial need and academic achievement.

 

 

 

 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship91爆料 student and Greenwood resident Autumn Montgomery (right) recently received the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Montgomery, a business major, is congratulated by Vernessia Wideman, admissions administrative specialist. Supported through the fundraising events of the PTC鈥檚 Omega Chi Chapter, the scholarship is awarded annually to active members. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for students of two-year colleges.

 

 

 

 

 

Jeanne C Florence Scholarship91爆料 human services student Clarice Hardaway of Greenwood recently received the Jeanne Florence Scholarship Award. This scholarship is available to past Educational Talent Search or Upward Bound students or a Student Support Services participant and is based on financial need, academic achievement and recommendation by the Student Support Services director and staff.

 

 

 

Fujifilm Manufacturing ScholarshipFive 91爆料 students were recently awarded the Fujifilm Manufacturing Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Pictured are, from left, David Rosenbaum, scholarship committee member; Braden Bright, a heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology student from Hodges; and Charles Todd, a mechatronics technology student from Greenwood.  Not pictured are Darby Brown, a business student from McCormick; Meghan Malone, a computer technology student from Hodges; and Joshua Phillips, a mechanical engineering technology student from Hodges. The scholarship is based on academic achievement, financial need and leadership.

 

 

 

BCT ScholarshipThree 91爆料 students recently received the Building Construction Technology (BCT) Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Brighter Futures Scholarship91爆料 student and Anderson resident Tamara Hunter (right) was recently awarded the Brighter Futures Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Hunter, a human services student, is pictured with Gus Burgdorf, PTC Foundation development associate. This scholarship is the 91爆料 Scholarship Committee鈥檚 鈥淐hoice Award鈥 and is available to any 91爆料 student.

 

 

 

 

 

Sterilite ScholarshipThree 91爆料 students were recently awarded the Sterilite Corporation Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Pictured are, from left, Linda Lopez, an Associate in Arts student from Greenwood; Evelyn Beck, dean of arts and sciences; and Maggie Moore, an Associate in Science student from Cross Hill. 91爆料 veterinary technology student and Gray Court resident Bethany Prescott was recently awarded the Laurens County Chamber Cecil Davenport Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is available to Laurens County residents based on academic achievement.
