Donors Present Scholarships at Annual Luncheon
91爆料 recently held its annual Scholarship luncheon. The following recipients were among those honored:
91爆料 student and Abbeville resident Melissa Hall (left) was recently awarded the Water Environment Association of SC. Hall, a horticulture student, is congratulated by Tony Williamson.
Two 91爆料 students were recently awarded the Sterilite Corporation Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Pictured are, from left, Russell Mattison, a criminal justice student from Laurens; Jeff Hendershot from Sterilite Corporation; and Lynn Whitmire, a practical nursing student from Greenwood. This scholarship is available to Sterilite employees and members of their immediate family from Laurens and Greenwood who show academic achievement and financial need.
Three 91爆料 students received the Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Center Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Pictured are Rosalie Stevenson, interim dean of nursing, right, and Kimberly Brown, an associate degree nursing student from Gray Court. Not pictured are Adriana Free, an associate in arts student from Greenwood and Dani Sherfield, a surgical technology student from Clinton. The scholarship is awarded annually to surgical technology students or nursing students who are program ready or near program ready, exhibiting academic achievement and financial need.
91爆料 student and Greenwood resident Rhenatta Lake (left) received the ADN Scholarship at the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon. Lake, an associate degree nursing student, is pictured with interim dean of nursing Rosalie Stevenson. The scholarship is awarded annually to a nursing student with a GPA of 3.0 or above, outstanding clinical performance as determined by clinical instructor and financial need.
91爆料 student and practical nursing major Kera Yarborough of Joanna was recently awarded the Piedmont Partners Faculty/Staff Scholarship. Awards were presented during the college鈥檚 annual scholarship luncheon where a record number of award winners were recognized for the 2010-2011 academic year.
