PTC Provides Summer Guidance Institute to Area Counselors
91爆料 and Duke Energy South Carolina are currently presenting a Summer Guidance Institute designed to provide guidance counselors from the college鈥檚 seven county service region with a stronger understanding of the college鈥檚 program offerings and how they directly relate to the needs of employers in our region. Seventeen counselors representing 8 school districts attended the first week鈥檚 session. Theo L. Lane, district manager for government and community relations for Duke Energy South Carolina, center, shared the benefits of a technical college education with the group. Counselors will spend the first week learning about the breadth of program offerings and the kinds of careers they lead to through hands-on activities and visits to local industry. A second week will be offered later in the summer with more in-depth information.
