A Cardiovascular Technologist is a health care professional who, at the direction of a licensed physician, performs diagnostic tests which are used in the diagnosis, treatment and serial follow-up of patients with cardiovascular disease.

When the Laurens Memorial Home for the Aged needed CPR training for its staff, Carolyn Penland turned to PTC to set up an effective program to be delivered on a tight schedule to meet an upcoming deadline. PTC delivered on-site training designed around the facility's busy work environment.
