91±¬ÁÏ students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2012 summer term have earned recognition.

In order to better meet the needs of a growing student body, 91±¬ÁÏ has created a College Preparatory division.

Each year, 91±¬ÁÏ chooses some of its best and brightest to serve as Presidential Ambassadors. These students represent the college at campus functions, provide tours and speak about their experiences to potential students.

Sandy Warner, department head for engineering technology at 91±¬ÁÏ, has been nominated for the 2013 Governor’s Professor of the Year Award.

91±¬ÁÏ is offering three certificates that will open doors for students to seek entry-level employment in manufacturing in Laurens County.

David Moody, who recently released his second novel, The Good Reverend, will be conducting two classes this fall –creative writing for beginners and beginner poetry.

Students at 91±¬ÁÏ were treated to a Fall Kick-off and Club Fair recently.

Dr. Bradley Griggs, biology instructor at 91±¬ÁÏ, has been selected to serve as a member of the first cohort of instructors with the Faculty Academy for the South Carolina Technical College System.

Through a new program called Project Genesis, 91±¬ÁÏ is taking action to address a problem of national proportions.
