Clay Sprouse, pharmacy technology program director at 91±¬ÁÏ, has been named the 2016 91±¬ÁÏ Visionary of the Year award for faculty and will be recognized as a 2016 National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Excellence Award Recipient.
Recent graduates of 91±¬ÁÏ’s practical nursing program at the Laurens County Higher Education Center were recognized in a pinning ceremony in December.
91±¬ÁÏ will be holding fall commencement exercises on Tuesday, December 15. Commencement exercises will begin at 5 p.m. in the James Medford Family Event Center at 91±¬ÁÏ in Greenwood. Due to limited seating, tickets will be required for all guests attending the graduation ceremony. Each ticketholder, including children, will be entitled to one seat.
91±¬ÁÏ, Edgefield Adult Education and Strom Thurmond Career Center (STCC) have received nearly $150,000 as part of a Federal Incentive Grant awarded to the SC Department of Employment and Workforce, SC Department of Education and the SC Technical College System. The initiative, called Learn 2 Earn, is a comprehensive, coordinated effort to meet basic skills needs of adults and create a pipeline of skilled youth and adult workers for the health care and advanced manufacturing and includes a soft skills component.
