91±¬ÁÏ will be holding fall commencement exercises on Tuesday, December 15. Commencement exercises will begin at 5 p.m. in the James Medford Family Event Center at 91±¬ÁÏ in Greenwood. Due to limited seating, tickets will be required for all guests attending the graduation ceremony. Each ticketholder, including children, will be entitled to one seat.

Piedmont Tech Receives Federal Grant Money for Classes in Edgefield

91±¬ÁÏ, Edgefield Adult Education and Strom Thurmond Career Center (STCC) have received nearly $150,000 as part of a Federal Incentive Grant awarded to the SC Department of Employment and Workforce, SC Department of Education and the SC Technical College System. The initiative, called Learn 2 Earn, is a comprehensive, coordinated effort to meet basic skills needs of adults and create a pipeline of skilled youth and adult workers for the health care and advanced manufacturing and includes a soft skills component.

Building Construction Technology Program Purchases New Equipment

The Building Construction Technology (BCT) Department at 91±¬ÁÏ recently purchased a mini excavator with the help of federal Perkins money.
