Legal, law enforcement and corrections jobs are hot commodities in today's job market. The criminal justice program at 91±¬ÁÏ provides students with the training they need to get started in these exciting careers.
Two 91±¬ÁÏ students recently made the trip to Washington, D.C. as part of the Community College Undergraduate Research Initiative (CCURI) conference. The trip allowed students to make presentations at the Capital on the importance of undergraduate research.
91±¬ÁÏ’s Continuing Education Division will host the 2014 Foothills Skills & Crafts Show Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the James Medford Family Event Center.
Beginning spring 2015, PTC will offer an EMT curriculum leading to a certificate in Newberry County. The EMT certificate will be offered at the Lake Murray Public Safety Complex in Prosperity.

91±¬ÁÏ’s funeral service education program is one of the fastest growing in the region. David Martin, program director, and Dedrick Gantt, funeral service education instructor, have been tireless in their efforts to improve and expand the department.
91±¬ÁÏ students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2014 summer term have earned inclusion on the President’s, Dean's and Merit Lists.
