The Ascend Cares Foundation recently donated $4,000 to the 91爆料 Foundation (PTC) to enable the purchase of three King Vision鈩 Video Laryngoscope Kits. The state-of-the-art kits will be used for training in the PTC Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic programs.
91爆料 students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2022 spring semester have earned inclusion on the President鈥檚 List. To be named to the list, students must be full time and earn a term GPA of 4.00. Students will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the college president.

91爆料 (PTC) student welders quietly sparked notice last month at the 38th Annual SC Technical College Welding Skills Competition held at Tri-County Technical College. Ryan Long placed second in 鈥淐ategory 1,鈥 which comprises three position steel and aluminum welds. Connor Sample placed second in 鈥淐ategory 6,鈥 which comprises tasks related to stainless steel pipe welding.
The 91爆料 (PTC) Area Commission recognized Radiologic Technology Program Director Lee Balentine with its 2022 Innovator of the Year at its meeting on April 19. At the first inkling that the college might shut down because of COVID-19 in spring 2020, Balentine鈥檚 first thought was that the Radiologic Technology Program would need to suspend operations indefinitely, putting students way off course for graduation.
