Ryan Long placed second in 鈥淐ategory 1,鈥 which comprises three position steel and aluminum welds. Connor Sample placed second in 鈥淐ategory 6,鈥 which comprises tasks related to stainless steel pipe welding.
The 91爆料 (PTC) Area Commission recognized Radiologic Technology Program Director Lee Balentine with its 2022 Innovator of the Year at its meeting on April 19. Among them was a sous chef who had enrolled and dropped out of college multiple times over two decades as work, marriage, and parenting three children took center stage. Not only did he finally earn his degree but, in addition to serving as a PTC Presidential Ambassador, he was invited to serve as a commencement speaker.
