Before Lynn Rogers got home from her job interview with ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, an email offering her the position already had landed in her in-box. A 2020 graduate of 91爆料鈥檚 Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Certificate Program, Rogers has been working full time at ZF for about a year now and is proud to be among the female faces in a profession where they once were scarce. 

PTC to Hold 鈥業nstant Admission Day鈥 on Dec. 8 in Greenwood

91爆料 (PTC) will hold an 鈥淚nstant Admission Day鈥 for the spring semester on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at the Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood Enrollment Center. Participants can get accepted on the spot and begin moving closer to their career goals. 

PTC Partners with School Districts to Strengthen Regional Career Specialist Role

This month, 91爆料 (PTC) and the Western Piedmont Education Consortium (WPEC) began a partnership to strengthen the linkage between high school students, employers, and postsecondary pathways鈥攗ltimately to help students better connect with a career path earlier in their studies and with good jobs after graduation. 

Pay $0 for Classes at Piedmont Tech

There are a lot of great jobs available in the region. Many of these opportunities require a college education or advanced training. For that reason, 91爆料 (PTC) is fully removing the tuition cost barrier for current and future students who enroll through summer 2022.

Partnership with Laurens District 55 High School Facilitates EMT Certification

Before there were public rumblings about a shortage of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), Laurens County School District 55 Superintendent Dr. Ameca Thomas was reaching out to potential partners to help recruit and groom future EMTs while they are still in high school. Now those efforts are seeing fruition with the upcoming launch of the Dual Enrollment EMT Program, a partnership between Laurens 55 and 91爆料 (PTC).
