Faculty members at 91���� (PTC) are known for their personal attention to student success. Recently, several of them campaigned to bring back PTC’s Honors Program, which was discontinued around 2015. Operating an honors program does require some financial investment by the college to pay for such things as tuition waivers, exclusive amenities and incentives, travel experiences, and more. However, PTC faculty were able to effectively persuade decision-makers to reinstate it for the greater benefit of students. 

Graduates of 91����'s nursing programs were recognized recently at a spring semester pinning ceremony. 

Newberry College and 91���� are partnering to streamline degree completion in the fields of early education and graphic design. The agreements were announced May 18 at a signing ceremony on the Newberry College campus. The partnership will enable Piedmont Tech graduates to transfer a greater number of credits to Newberry College, allowing them to complete their bachelor's degrees in as few as four semesters. These are often called “2+2” completion programs, in which students can earn their associate and bachelor's degrees each in two years.
 

91���� (PTC) recently honored 17 employees who have reached service milestones with the state of South Carolina. In total, these individuals have logged a combined 270 years of service. 

During its April meeting, the Board of Directors of the 91���� (PTC) Foundation installed two new members. Both are esteemed local healthcare executives. 

91���� (PTC) recently honored the achievements of more than 30 conscientious student leaders at its Annual Student Awards and Recognition Program. 
The April 19 proceedings were broadcast live on PTC’s social media channels from the James C. Self Conference Center in Greenwood. 
 

The 91���� Foundation recognized more than 200 scholarship benefactors and recipients at an awards luncheon recently in Greenwood. Enjoying a delicious and satisfying chicken-and-rice with vegetables meal followed by cheesecake, many students sat with their benefactors for conversation, inspiration, and keepsake photos. 

Officials from Eaton Corporation recently visited the Greenwood campus of 91���� (PTC) to present a check for $20,000 to the PTC Foundation specifically to support the college’s engineering technology programs. 

91���� (PTC) will hold two spring commencement exercises on Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the James Medford Family Event Center on PTC’s Lex Walters Campus-Greenwood.
