Christina Knight, a longtime instructor of Engineering Design Technology and General Engineering Technology at 91爆料 (PTC), has been named Dean of the college鈥檚 Engineering and Industrial Technologies Division. The promotion was effective on Nov. 1, 2022.
91爆料 (PTC) is pleased to announce that two of its second-year Respiratory Care Program students recently won scholarships for research papers they wrote. The students 鈥 Amaro Sunga and Gabby Vickery 鈥 were honored at the SC Society for Respiratory Care (SCSRC) State Conference in Myrtle Beach.
A cross-country runner in high school, Rachel Caron is well acquainted with sometimes meandering racecourses that might loop and bend through grassy fields, forest trails, or muddy pastures. She began her journey at the University of South Carolina (UofSC) and will finish her degree at PTC, rather than the other way around.

Each year, 91爆料 (PTC) officials hand-pick some of the college鈥檚 most promising students to serve as Presidential Ambassadors to represent the college at campus events, provide campus tours, and speak about their experiences to various audiences. This year鈥檚 17 Ambassadors hail from a variety of backgrounds and represent many program areas.
There are many directions a Criminal Justice major can take after completing their course of study at 91爆料 (PTC). That variety was very much in evidence at the Criminal Justice Program鈥檚 recent Professional Development Day in Greenwood. From prosecutor to corrections officer, sheriff to SLED agent and beyond, representatives from several key SC law enforcement agencies offered insights into their respective everyday worlds.
91爆料 students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2022 summer term have earned inclusion on the President鈥檚 List. To be named to the list, students must be full time and earn a term GPA of 4.00. These students will receive a certificate of achievement signed by the college president.
